Instagram Account Verification

When evaluating accounts, Instagram looks at various factors to determine whether they're in the public interest and meet verification criteria. Even if your account is eligible, submitting a request doesn't guarantee verification. 

How to Apply for Instagram Verification: 

1. Open the Instagram app and go to the account you want verified. 

2. Go to Settings. 

3. Go to Accounts. 

4. Tap Request Verification. 

5. Enter your full name and provide the required form of identification and supporting links. 

6. Tap Submit. 

After Instagram reviews your request, you get a notification that lets you know whether your account is verified. If we deny your request, you can submit a new request after 30 days. 

IMPORTANT: If a Facebook Page linked to your Instagram account is already verified, you still need to apply for verification on Instagram.
