Can the new Signpost programs request for Meta Ad Credit?
- Yes, if you have an active Facebook page and have produced content for your page, you are eligible to request Meta Ad Credit.
We are not under Signpost Business Suite. Can we still request ad credit?
- Meta Ad Credits are primarily allocated for IRC's Signpost program. However, we may express interest in obtaining credits for our partners as well. The final decision regarding credit allocation rests with Meta. To avoid any complications, we recommend joining Signpost Business Suite.
- Please contact Signpost's Humanitarian Content and Social Media Advisor to initiate the process.
How long should I plan for the Meta Ad Credit?
- To streamline the approval process, we recommend creating a plan that spans a longer duration (e.g., more than one month). However, accurately forecasting future content needs can be challenging.
- Therefore, the plan should be based on current content needs and anticipated future demands.
How can I apply for Meta Ad Credit?
- Signpost centrally coordinates with Meta to allocate credits for our program. You do not need to apply separately.
- Before communicating with Meta, we will gather initial information from you, such as the number of people you want to reach and the estimated budget.
What is the process of receiving ad credit?
- Prepare Ad Creditves: You prepare the ad creatives and translation of the ads following Meta’s template. Here is a sample of the ad creative and Translation template.
- Submit your plan: Once you completed your planning, you submit it to the Humanitarian Content and Social Media Advisor. The Humanitarian Content and Social Media Advisor will share it with Meta through the Signpost Meta Focal Point.
